In true spirit of getting on with life, the talented Egyptian Rai singer come computer graphics designer and non-linar video editor par excellence, Cheb Ali, has moved on to Nasheed! Born in Cairo, Cheb has been in the international music and video production industry since 1994 - singing, composing and writing lyrics for artists from Egypt to Lebanon, South Africa, Australia, etc.  and working in graphic design and audio/video production in Egypt, Malaysia and other places around the world. He has been called “Voice of the Desert” and his music, “Rhythm of the Nile” in many musical establishments and events. His works also have been demanded for, even beyond borders of the various countries, (thanks to Virtual Labs and the Internet).

Cheb is no stranger to the Malaysian/Egyptian production/Nasheed fraternity, having spent almost half of his career life in Cairo, the other half in Kuala Lumpur since 2002. His encounters with the established musicians and producers in both cities, have produced a bunch of successful works from composing, lyrics writing and singing to shooting, producing, and audio/video editing - some of which has since been adopted as theme tracks for the International Islamic Fair in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Some of his other music works have of late inspired famous artists including RAIHAN of Malaysia and Zain Bhikha of South Africa.

“Ana Muslim” album is a unique collection of modern English/Arabic Nasheed with inspiring Islamic messages, especially for young Muslims - boys and girls all over the Muslim world.
